Good Morning! Below you will find the directions for flyer assignments 1 and 2. Follow each step-by-step in order to reach the desired outcome. If you do not, your flyer will not look the way you want it to in the end.
Lab 1-Creating a flyer with
a picture
Instructions:
1.
Type the following flyer text, unformatted, as
shown below. If Word flags any misspelled words as you type, check the spelling of
these words and correct them.
2.
Apply the Heading 1 style to the headline. Apply the Heading 2 style to the signature
line.
3.
Center the headline and signature line
horizontally.
4.
Change the font and font size of the headline to
48-point Arial Rounded MT Bold.
5.
Change the font size of the body copy between
the headline and signature line to 22 point.
6.
Change the font size of the signature line to 28
point.
7.
Bullet the three lines (paragraphs) of text
above the signature line.
8.
Bold the text, change your view in the
first paragraph.
9.
Italicize the word aerial in the first paragraph.
10. Underline
the word and in the first bulleted paragraph.
Under
the Design Tab (steps 11-12 only)
11. Change
the style set to Lines (Simple).
12. Change
the theme to the Ion theme.
13. Insert
the picture centered on the blank line above the bulleted list. The picture is called “Airplane Ride over
City”, and is available from Google Images.
14. Apply
the Relaxed Perspective, White picture style to the inserted picture.
15. Insert
a blank, three-column footer with your name, date, and class period.
16. The
entire flyer should fit on one page. If
it flows to two pages, resize the picture, decrease spacing before and after
paragraphs, or adjust top and bottom margins until the entire flyer fits on a
single page.
17. Save
the flyer to your H: drive as Airplane Rides Last Name.
18. Submit
the flyer using the format specified by your teacher.

Instructions:

4.

the style set to Lines (Stylish).
12. Change
the theme to the Slate theme.
13. Insert
the picture centered on the blank line above the bulleted list. The picture is called “Bradford Pear in
Bloom”, and is available from Google Images.
14. Apply
the Soft Edge Oval picture style to the inserted picture.
15. Add
the graphic border, shown in the sample flyer (it is about 1/3 of the way down
in the Art Gallery). Change the border
color to Tan, Background 2.
16. Insert
a blank, three-column footer with your name, date, and class period.
17. The
entire flyer should fit on one page. If
it flows to two pages, resize the picture, decrease spacing before and after
paragraphs, or adjust top and bottom margins until the entire flyer fits on a
single page.
18. Save
the flyer to your H: drive as Blooming Deals Last Name.
19. Submit
the flyer using the format specified by your teacher.
